About
Our Origin
Juan Sanchez, our founder, began volunteering at a young age with various organizations to enhance his local communities. This commitment to community service has been an aspect of his life and continues to inspire his actions.
As he grew up, he explored different jobs before finding his place in the luxury sector, where his passion for fragrances blossomed. He became enamored with the artistry of layering and blending scents.
Similar to a painter who creates stunning works of art through precise brushstrokes and color combinations, Juan aspired to master the craft of blending notes to evoke emotions and transport people on a sensory journey. His goal was to create fragrances rich in memories that resonate deeply.
Thus, JUAN ARMANDO was established, where we unite luxury fragrance artistry with a commitment to communities by donating a portion of every purchase to support local improvements.

TEXAS YES
"TEXAS YES is an educational nonprofit committed to closing the gap for educational equality through the support of Title 1 students in San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, and Austin.
For 27 years, TEXAS YES Project has worked to provide students with the supplies and resources they need for success in the classroom. As our program has grown, we’ve expanded the ways we provide services to the students we serve. Our Box of Dreams program supports our partnered Title 1 schools across Texas with free school supplies. Our Little Locker Project provides greater access to literacy, by offering free books and resources in the areas we serve. In addition, we provide direct grants to teachers and schools to fund new initiatives around STEAM education, equipment, and classroom updates.
In 2023, TEXAS YES launched the ‘YES Reading Partners’. Volunteers can read to students in grades Kindergarten – 5th grade at partnered elementary schools. Reading to young children exposes them to new words and ways of using them. This makes it easier for children to learn about new subjects as they progress through the primary and secondary years of school."

Our Sustainability Promise
We pride ourselves in delivering high-quality offerings that are crafted with eco-friendly and sustainable materials!
We proudly use 100% soy waxes in our candles! Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans. After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated. The hydrogenation process converts some of the fatty acids in the oil from unsaturated to saturated. This process dramatically alters the melting point of the oil, making it solid at room temperature. The leftover bean husks are commonly used as animal feed. Soy's greatest advantage is that it is completely renewable. While the global reserves of oil shrink and paraffin prices increase, the only limit to the soy supply is how much we choose to grow. The soy that we use today was likely in the ground less than a year ago. And chances are that same field is growing more soy for the candles to be made in the future. In addition to sustainability, a well-made soy candle will burn cleanly and slowly! The U.S. grows the vast majority of the world's soybeans, primarily in Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana. This means we proudly source our soy waxes from farmers here in the U.S!
All of the fragrances we use in our products are formulated without phthalates and adhere to RIFM and IFRA standards for safety and purity. Our partners conduct rigorous safety and performance testing by their in-house lab team of experts.
